50th ANNIVERSARY OF APOLLO 10

Photos taken at NASA Johnson Space Center and at the Hilton NASA Clear Lake which are both near Houston, TX. The photos are related to Beaglestock III which was held in honor of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 10's historic lunar orbit mission May 18, 1969 which was a dress rehearsal for Apollo 11's historic moon landing of July 21, 1969. The Command Module and Lunar Module were named Charlie Brown and Snoopy, respectively, on Apollo 10. Click on images to enlarge.



Apollo 10 Plaque at NASA/Johnson; our bus for our Houston tour was named Charlie Brown; cookies served on the bus commemorating the event; a couple symbolic photos of the Moon taken at NASA/Johnson.
