Highlights in my looooong hair loving journey.
Seeing the Sonny and Cher show back in early to mid 70s. Some great songs and great hair!!
Crystal Gayle - I used to watch TV programs when she was scheduled in late 70s and 80s to see how loooong her hair was.
Finding The Long Hair Site back in 1997 (now closed since 01/06/07). I met one of the Guestbook posters on June 11 and 29, 2003 and quite a few times since. Some of my photos were published on November 9, 2003.
Looking up who held the world record for looooooongest hair. Diane Witt was mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records in the 80s and early to mid 90s. Diane Witt was from Worcester, MA then - not far from my old stomping grounds!!
I have been co-moderator of the two #1 looooooooong hair groups at Yahoo - DYQ's Long Hair Club (home of the DYQ Calendar) and Floorlengthhair Club 2 (home of the FLHC2 chat) for at least several months. I am now a comoderator (or is it comoderathair?) of the second DYQ Yahoo group set up on June 11, 2003 and more recently of the FLHC2plus Group. I have even spoke briefly with DYQ on the phone in December 2001 and in June 2003. I met the founder of DYQ's Long Hair Club on June 20, 2003. I also met a fellow FLHC2 member in July 2003. WARNING: Viewing the DYQ photos may leave you in a haze!!:-)
